Overview

As the latest jewel in the renowned Hard Rock crown, this exceptional venue is set to redefine entertainment and hospitality in Canada's capital city.

Boasting a prime location, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa will be a stunning fusion of contemporary style and timeless rock 'n' roll flair. The moment you step inside, you'll be transported into a world of music, memorabilia and non-stop excitement.

Responsibilities

• Set-up/replenish server stations with polished china, glassware, and silverware.
• Set-up/replenish server stations with condiments for service.
• Scrape dishes.
• Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, polished silverware, and other standard items.
• Utilize trays for pre-bussing & bussing tables; all trays are to be organized with safety in mind.
• Deliver all soiled china, glass, and silverware trays to the dish room; discard all trash in designated bins.
• Bag and remove soiled linen to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, practicing clean as you go procedures.
• Notify management of any maintenance or repair issues.
• Complete any additional reasonable requests by management.
• Check with supervisor before leaving at end of shift.

Qualifications

Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in food service or customer service preferred.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to walk distances.
• Must frequently lift/push/pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions

• Duties are performed in a highly regulated environment, with occasional presence on the Casino Floor where environmental factors like noise may be present.
