Busperson, Hawthorn Restaurant & Bar (Part-time)

Exceptional service and cuisine are hallmarks of the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts dining experience. As a Bus Person, you will play an essential role in supporting Food & Beverage colleagues and setting the stage for memorable meals.

What you will be doing:

1. Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service consistently.
2. Assist Food & Beverage Servers throughout the dining experience.
3. Support Bartenders with prep and service tasks.
4. Inform guests about menu items in a helpful manner.
5. Maintain knowledge of sourcing for our products.
6. Adhere to Hawthorn and Fairmont policies, procedures, and service standards.
7. Follow Leading Quality Assurance Standards.
8. Comply with safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
9. Ensure proper setup of all side stations.
10. Be familiar with beverage lists and promotions.
11. Perform Bar Back duties as required.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

1. Previous service experience is an asset; Point of Sale System experience is also beneficial.
2. Must have full availability.
3. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
4. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
5. Highly responsible and reliable.
6. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Ability to work well with colleagues as part of a team.
