Job summary

Gateway Casinos is seeking a Part-Time team member to assist in stocking and cleaning restaurant and self-serve areas, staff cafeteria, and gaming floor. You will maintain a high standard of cleanliness and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a secondary school diploma, 1+ year experience, and the ability to obtain AGCO Category 2 Gaming Assistant registration. Benefits include a full benefits package and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year experience in related field.
• Proven high level of customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, large-volume environment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain Category 2 Gaming Assistant registration with the AGCO.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, self-serve areas, staff cafeteria and gaming floor to ensure professional appearance.
• Deliver the highest level of customer service to patrons and employees.
• Stock self-serve stations.
• Keep workspaces clean and sanitized; ensure health and safety standards are met.

Salary Range: $17.95 per hour

One Year Rate: $18.78 per hour

The Position

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, self-serve areas, staff cafeteria and gaming floor to ensure all are professional in appearance,
• Maintain the highest caliber of customer service to patrons and employees
• Stock self-serve stations
• Keep workspaces clean and sanitized and ensure compliance with health and safety standards

What You Bring

• A secondary school diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education.
• Experience in related field of one (1) or more years.
• Proven high level of Customer Service
• The ability to work and excel in a fast-paced large volume business.
• Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
