As we expand our footprint into Nova Scotia, we’re looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial team member who can help us grow.

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to support our expansion into the Nova Scotia market. The successful candidate will work directly with our leadership team to originate, manage, and close business sales and M&A transactions. This is a client-facing role that involves relationship-building, financial analysis, and deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Source and engage new clients (business owners) considering the sale of their companies
  2. Assist in valuing businesses, preparing CIMs (Confidential Information Memoranda), and developing go-to-market strategies
  3. Participate in negotiations, buyer-seller meetings, and transaction management
  4. Conduct financial and market analysis to assess business value and transaction readiness
  5. Collaborate with legal, accounting, and financing professionals to support due diligence and deal closings
  6. Help build brand presence in Nova Scotia through networking, professional associations, and targeted outreach
Who You Are:
  1. Entrepreneurial mindset with a professional, client-focused approach
  2. Background in business, finance, law, accounting, or real estate
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  4. Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple files
  5. Ideally 3+ years’ experience in business brokerage, commercial real estate, M&A advisory, or a related field
  6. Experience with business valuation or financial modeling is an asset
  7. Licensed in real estate (or willing to pursue licensure) is a strong plus
Why Join Us:
  1. Be part of a growing firm shaping the next generation of business transitions in Atlantic Canada
  2. Work on meaningful deals with real economic impact
  3. Flexible, entrepreneurial work culture
  4. Competitive compensation, performance-based bonuses, and potential for equity participation as we grow
