Business Transient Sales Manager - TOOR Hotel

About the Role:

The Business Transient Sales Manager will develop and manage the hotel’s negotiated business segments. The candidate must be skilled in building relationships, engaging clients, anticipating guest needs, and exceeding expectations. This candidate will work alongside the Director of Sales to achieve pre-established room and revenue goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively solicit and qualify new business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections, written communication, and client entertainment;
  • Conduct targeted account research to determine revenue potential;
  • Participate in daily business review meetings, training, and other sales-related meetings as required;
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing strategies and negotiate contracts in line with the hotel’s revenue goals;
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer behavior to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the local market;
  • Work with marketing to promote targeted campaigns, special offers, and industry partnerships to drive business;
  • Respond to sales leads and client requests within 4 hours;
  • Prepare and customize sales presentations and proposals to meet client needs;
  • Coordinate with other departments to execute group bookings and catering events;
  • Produce quarterly plans and weekly reports with strategies to meet activity targets and revenue goals;
  • Track performance metrics and booking trends using CRM tools;
  • Monitor and evaluate service and satisfaction trends, address issues, and implement improvements.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of hotel sales and operations
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hotel sales
  • Energetic, outgoing, positive attitude, and driven to provide outstanding guest service
  • Knowledge of Delphi is a plus
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • University/College degree in a related discipline is preferred
