Job summary

FP Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst - FX to apply effective risk management and regulatory compliance practices in decision-making for a 6-month hybrid role based in Downtown Toronto.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Operations, Technology and Risk to govern delivery and drive strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has 8+ years as a Business Systems Analyst with strong capital markets knowledge, derivatives/FX lifecycle experience, and a focus on data quality and controls.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong Capital Markets product, operational, and market infrastructure knowledge.
• Knowledge of derivatives, FX, money market, and transaction lifecycle processes.
• Ability to build effective partnerships across Front Office, Operations, Technology, and Risk.
• Strong focus on risk management, controls, regulatory compliance, and data quality.

Responsibilities

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Business Systems Analyst - FX to apply effective risk management and regulatory compliance practices in day-to-day decision-making. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in the role:

• Drive the Derivatives & FX Services strategy through strong delivery governance and control execution.
• Lead complex business and operational change initiatives from scoping through implementation.
• Manage project portfolios, including plans, dependencies, risks, budgets, and stakeholder alignment.
• Deliver operational improvements that increase efficiency, effectiveness, and control outcomes.
