Story Behind the Need
Business group: Global Marketing Team. Candidate will be supporting the Global Acceleration Team – Identify opportunities for digital transformation and evolution within the organization.
Project: Moving digital properties that are within Adobe Managed Services, moving on-prem to cloud platform
Typical Day in Role
The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Supports one or more highly complex business processes
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member
- Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
- Aggregate, analyze, and organize large volumes of data to derive actionable insights
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing systems and processes
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with corporate data governance policies
- Support project management activities, including timelines, resources, and deliverables
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills
- 5-7 years’ experience required as a Business Systems Analyst within financial services
- Technical familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a requirement.
- Experience with migration to cloud required. Platform leveraged is AEM, will be moving AEM on- prem to AEM cloud
- Comfortable working in Agile frameworks and with tools like JIRA. Familiarity with Jira required as they will be writing user stories.
- Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
- Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
- Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions
- A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
- Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach
- Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
Education
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, information technology, management information systems (MIS) or related field required.
• Certifications: IIBA advantageous, CBAP
