Your Team

Join the Information Technology team at Flair as aBusiness Systems Analyst, supporting the operation, integration, and continuous improvement of Flair’s core business systems in a fast-paced, office-based environment. Reporting to theSenior Technical Product Manager, you will serve as a key link between business needs and technical solutions, managing system configurations, testing updates, supporting user training, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment across teams to reduce operational disruption. You will collaborate with departments across the organization, including operations, commercial, finance, and external vendors, to ensure systems meet evolving business requirements. The ideal candidate is analytical, solutions-focused, and thrives in dynamic, collaborative environments. You bring strong communication and organizational skills, a passion for systems and process optimization, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Occasional travel and flexibility to support projects or training across locations may be required.

This position is based on-site at our offices inVancouver, BC (YVR).

A Day In The Life

Business Systems Analyst, you will:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze both functional and non-functional system requirements.
• Evaluate and map current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend opportunities for optimization.
• Assess applications for security vulnerabilities and ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation, including system specifications, workflow diagrams, and end-user manuals.
• Deliver user training sessions to promote system understanding, adoption, and best practices.
• Establish a feedback loop to monitor application performance and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Validate data integrity and system functionality prior to deployment to ensure readiness for operational use.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Policies and Procedures Manual to support standardized operations.
• Analyze complex data sets to extract actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Lead system audits and perform quality checks to maintain compliance and operational reliability.
• Design and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans to ensure solutions meet defined requirements and function as intended.
• Review and refine existing processes regularly to drive continuous improvement in line with business goals.
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient APIs to support evolving operational requirements.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support overall business objectives.

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in business analysis or system management (e.g., CBAP, ITIL) are considered an asset.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a Business System Analyst or similar role.
• Proven experience with systems integration, process optimization, and software testing.
• Experience with creating and maintaining detailed system documentation and user guides.
• Hands-on experience conducting UAT and working with APIs.
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data to support decision-making.
• Skills and Abilities:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other project management platforms.
• Technical proficiency in understanding system integrations, APIs, and security protocols.
• Capability to independently identify solutions and drive improvements
• Requirements:
• Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
• Must have a valid passport for travel across the airline’s network.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
