About the Role

On behalf of our client in the Banking industry, Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Business Systems Analyst ready to take on new challenges.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop effective and efficient solutions by researching / analyzing current system capabilities and defining technology options / recommendations, working closely with key technology partners (e.g., Solution Architects and Developers).
• Define, document, and translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
• Support testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for various testing phases.
• Support project management activities including scoping, effort estimation, risk identification, and communication with stakeholders.
• Participate in quality management reviews to ensure design and requirements fulfill project needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to find solutions, assess impacts, and manage system integration.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and processes related to requirements and project management.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of business domains and services.
• Support development of business cases, including benefits identification and vendor negotiations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
• Manage workload effectively across projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in knowledge transfer and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Your Qualifications

Education / Experience :

• At least 2 years of experience in ServiceNow Integration Projects.
• 5 years as a ServiceNow Business Systems Analyst.
• 3 years of experience with Confluence / JIRA.
• 3 years of Agile delivery experience.
• 3 years of ITIL / ITSM solutions experience.
• ServiceNow Certifications and Certified Systems Administrator (CSA).
