Job description

The Business Relations Manager is a customer-facing, field-based role in the Canada Commercial organization, reporting to the Deputy Director Business Relations. This position is responsible for managing Grifols' local brand reputation, connecting Canada's business strategy with the customer, and ensuring preference for Grifols' products and services, driving demand at regional and national levels. The role involves stakeholder engagement across transfusion medicine, hematology, immunology, neurology, pulmonology, and critical care, with a focus on building customer loyalty through credible interactions and face-to-face management of expectations.

This position requires 75-85% travel within Quebec and Eastern Canada (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland). The candidate must reside in Quebec and speak French.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Build and develop relationships with Canadian key opinion leaders to secure and maintain strong brand recognition and preference, driving demand to meet sales goals.
  2. Develop an annual territory plan with the Deputy Director Business Relations, outlining advocacy development, branding objectives, and success measures.
  3. Support a collaborative team environment by participating in meetings and fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.
  4. Enhance expertise on Grifols' products, market knowledge, and Canadian healthcare policies through self-directed learning.
  5. Model leadership behaviors aligned with Grifols' code of conduct, ensuring honesty, integrity, and ethical interactions.
Skills/Qualifications/Education:
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or regulated environments, with knowledge of Canada's Blood Operators and plasma-derived medicines industry.
  • Proven success in customer relationship management and building customer advocates.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian industry regulations and Grifols' products/services.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage expectations.
  • Knowledge of performance metrics and adaptability to new tools.
  • Collaborative, flexible, with sound business judgment.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn about products and market.
  • Ability to travel extensively (~75-85%).

Work involves field visits, travel, and interaction with healthcare professionals, requiring good communication, physical mobility, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
