Overview

Smith Haughey Rice and Roegge (Smith Haughey) seeks a Business & Real Estate Senior Associate / Senior Counsel to join the team in our Holland, MI office. Smith Haughey was established in 1941 and serves clients in communities across Michigan. The successful candidate will have a strong academic record and the enthusiasm for a career in business and real estate. Experience with documents for business organizations (formation, terms and conditions, mergers and acquisitions) as well as outside general business counsel and real estate acquisition and disposition is preferred. Two to six years of experience practicing law post-J.D. is preferred. Candidates must be licensed (or willing and able to become licensed) and be in good standing to practice law in Michigan. The associate attorney will have the opportunity to work with various types of businesses, including private and publicly traded corporations, non-profits, and other organizations.
