Base pay range

CA$35.00/hr - CA$45.00/hr

Position Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Business Process Consultant for a 3 to 4-week on-site contract to help our client design and document our foundational business operations. This is a critical role aimed at building internal processes from the ground up, including developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and optimizing workflow structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze the current state (lack of formal processes) and define key operational workflows across departments.
• Design and implement practical, scalable business processes aligned with startup dynamics.
• Develop clear and detailed SOPs to guide daily operations and ensure consistency.
• Lead discussions with internal stakeholders to capture business needs and pain points.
• Recommend and document workflow improvements for better efficiency and accountability.
• Provide short-term consulting support to create a structured operational framework.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in business process reengineering, SOP creation, and workflow development.
• Prior consulting experience, ideally with small or startup businesses.
• Proven ability to work in unstructured environments and build processes from scratch.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in the health & safety or professional services sectors is an asset.
• Must be available to work on-site in Vaughan, ON for the duration of the contract.
