We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Business Partner, People & Performance (P&P) to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, People & Performance, you will play a key role in supporting the North America People & Performance team, bringing a strong customer service mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You tackle assignments with a sense of focus and enjoy challenging and interesting work. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact to the work we do for our clients. Fluency in Spanish both in written and verbal communication is required to support diverse stakeholders.

This role is primarily based in our Burlington office, with occasional travel to Toronto. We also offer flexibility to work from home a couple of days each week.

About The Role

  1. Collaborate with leaders to deeply understand their teams and business goals, using that knowledge to shape P&P support around talent planning, team engagement, and helping the business grow and succeed.
  2. Support the talent acquisition function by preparing relevant hiring documentation, advising on appropriate compensation through benchmarking exercises, and drafting offers for prospective candidates.
  3. Oversee and coordinate the Graduate and Undergraduate programs across North America. Responsibilities include supporting P&P team members in campus recruitment, professional development sessions, and program design. Build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  4. Support the execution of People & Performance initiatives such as performance management, annual compensation review, succession planning, employee engagement, and talent management.
  5. Support and manage other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or related field. CPHR designation is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in progressive HR positions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, standards, and regulations across Canada and Mexico.
  • Trusted advisor with strong business acumen and a consultative approach.
  • Highly flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • High emotional intelligence and sound judgment in handling and resolving conflicts.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) and strong interpersonal skills in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Experience in identifying learning and training needs and developing/delivering training sessions.
  • Proven ability to analyze problems, interpret data, and provide recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required to support operations in Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Oracle E-Business.
  • Experience in engineering consulting or professional services organizations.
