Job description

Galore is a Toronto-based premium apparel brand focused on high-end clothing essentials, selling internationally through both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels. As a fast-growing global e-commerce business, our team works closely across business operations, sales, logistics, analytics, and supply chain to build and scale a modern consumer brand.

Position Summary:

This is not a traditional co-op role. During your 4-month work term, you’ll work directly with the founder and core operations team, gaining hands-on exposure to how a real, high-growth e-commerce business is built, scaled, and operated in Canada. You’ll be embedded in day-to-day decision-making and trusted with meaningful, real-world work that directly impacts revenue, customer experience, and growth. You won’t be doing busywork. You’ll be contributing. Based on performance during the term, top-performing students may be invited to apply and interview for a full-time role upon graduation. We are a small, fast-moving team and actively hire strong co-op students who demonstrate initiative, ownership, and results. This is a rare opportunity to finish your degree with real operational experience — and potentially a full-time offer in hand.

Job Responsibilities:
Business Operations & Sales Support
  • Assist with customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving order issues that may arise
  • Provide sales support across both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels
  • Processing, quoting, and coordinating wholesale and boutique orders
Research & Analysis
  • Manage data entry and order tracking using CRM tools and spreadsheets
  • Analyze order trends, fulfillment performance, and customer behavior
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, conversion rates, fulfillment timelines, and logistics metrics
  • Conduct competitor and market research within the apparel and consumer brand space
Purchasing & Budgeting
  • Coordinate with warehousing and fulfillment partners to ensure appropriate inventory levels
  • Assist with inventory tracking and supply planning
  • Track departmental spending and assist with profitability and cost analysis
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a university co-op program in Business, Commerce, Management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, data analysis, and reporting) and PowerPoint
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (such as Shopify) is an asset
  • Strong interest in business operations, sales, e-commerce, or fashion brands
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a flexible, “Swiss-army-knife” mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage priorities with limited supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous co-op or internship experience (ideal for third-year co-op students)
  • Sales, customer service, or client-facing experience
  • Interest in or knowledge of fashion, apparel, or consumer brands
What You’ll Learn:
  • Direct exposure to real business operations (not busywork)
  • Hands-on experience across customer service, sales, wholesale, analytics, and logistics
  • Mentorship in a founder-led, high-growth environment
  • Resume-ready experience in e-commerce and fashion operations
  • A genuinely unique and fast-paced co-op experience that stands out from traditional corporate roles
