Overview

The Business Manager plays a role as a member of the Business Management team. They are responsible for managing core operational business processes that cover Financial Management, Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting, (working closely with their respective Finance Business Partners), Procurement and Vendor Management, and Resource Management as well as other operational tasks that occur from time to time.


What you will do

  • Provide financial oversight of an operational budget for a Team Leader. You will need to complete budget templates, quarterly forecasts and be able to interpret monthly reports to explain variances between actuals and budgets.
  • Prepare annual budget for area of focus, financial administration including invoice controls, settling financial disputes etc., and preparation of ad-hoc reports requested by Leadership.
  • Manage procurement activities including reporting on all contractual and financial commitments, and administers the procurement process for area of focus working with Supplier Management and Global Procurement to ensure all supplier contracts are processed in a timely manner, and acts as the central contact point for team contracting matters.
  • Manage team-specific onboarding and exit of resources, and has ability and commitment to handle sensitive, confidential information related to compensation, employee status, and performance management information as deemed necessary for supporting team leaders.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Excel with the ability to use functions and formula, Familiarity with SAP, Board and Coupa would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with previous experince providing financial oversight of large operational budgets
  • Experience managing vendors and the contract lifecycle including statements of work, SLAs and managing to KPIs
  • Strong coordination and organization skills required in coordinating internal business operations projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate to all levels within GT&K , and Confidence in dealing with managers, executives and business representatives.
