Job Description

Provide specialized business intelligence, analytics, and project delivery support for Payments Health Reporting. Lead the ongoing development, enhancement, and operation of enterprise reporting that provides transparent, decision-useful insights into payments performance, risk, and control health. Partner with business, technology, data, risk, and governance stakeholders to define reporting requirements, improve data quality and visualization, establish and calibrate meaningful thresholds and escalation criteria, and deliver reporting initiatives from planning through implementation. Apply strong analytical judgment and stakeholder management to identify trends, translate complex information into actionable insights, and enable timely management decisions and continuous improvement.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
CUSTOMER
  • Lead the development, production, and ongoing enhancement of Payments Health Reporting products, dashboards, scorecards, and management insights for enterprise stakeholders.
  • Engage business, technology, data, risk, control, and governance partners to understand objectives, translate needs into clear business and reporting requirements, and manage expectations across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Analyze payments performance, risk, control, incident, issue, and customer-impact data to identify trends, emerging concerns, root causes, and opportunities for management action.
  • Design and refine intuitive reporting views and executive-ready narratives that convert complex data into clear, actionable insights for audiences at varying levels of seniority.
  • Facilitate the definition, documentation, validation, and periodic review of metrics, thresholds, tolerances, and escalation criteria in partnership with accountable data and business owners.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and practical guidance on Payments Health Reporting, metric interpretation, data lineage, threshold application, and reporting processes.
  • Manage reporting initiatives and enhancements through structured project planning, requirements gathering, prioritization, testing, implementation, communication, and post-launch stabilization.
SHAREHOLDER
  • Produce accurate, timely, and consistent Payments Health Reporting for management and governance forums, supported by clear analysis of performance, risk, control health, and emerging themes.
  • Establish and maintain reporting governance, including metric definitions, calculation logic, data sources, ownership, refresh schedules, quality controls, thresholds, and escalation protocols.
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing metrics and thresholds using trend, variance, and outcome analysis; recommend adjustments that improve sensitivity, relevance, and decision usefulness.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and exception analysis, working with source-system and data owners to resolve quality, completeness, lineage, and timeliness issues.
  • Develop decision-quality insights, escalation summaries, and recommendations that enable leaders to understand material movements, prioritize action, and monitor remediation or improvement commitments.
  • Maintain a prioritized roadmap and delivery plan for reporting improvements, balancing stakeholder needs, strategic objectives, dependencies, risks, capacity, and implementation timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and workstreams, monitor milestones and deliverables, manage risks and issues, and provide transparent status reporting through completion.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve the accessibility, scalability, and sustainability of reporting solutions.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and retrievable reporting documentation and evidence in accordance with applicable governance, records-management, and audit expectations.
EMPLOYEE / TEAM
  • Build trusted relationships across Enterprise Payments and partner functions, using influence and sound judgment to align stakeholders on reporting priorities, requirements, thresholds, and delivery outcomes.
  • Communicate analytical findings, reporting limitations, project status, decisions, and required actions clearly and professionally to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Facilitate working sessions, requirements discussions, metric reviews, testing activities, and stakeholder approvals to support timely and effective delivery.
  • Promote consistent business intelligence practices, including documentation, data quality, version control, testing, issue management, and change management.
  • Support team capability through knowledge transfer, procedure development, cross-training, and continuous improvement of analytics and reporting practices.
BREADTH & DEPTH

Work independently as a Business Intelligence Specialist within Enterprise Payments, applying advanced analytical, reporting, and project management capabilities to complex and sometimes ambiguous business needs. Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned reporting initiatives and enhancements, from problem definition and stakeholder alignment through requirements, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and benefits monitoring. Integrate data and perspectives from multiple business and functional areas to develop enterprise-level insights, identify interdependencies, and support consistent interpretation of Payments Health Reporting. Exercise judgment in the selection and interpretation of metrics, establishment of thresholds, assessment of data quality, identification of material trends, and escalation of reporting risks or issues. Manage multiple concurrent priorities, stakeholders, dependencies, and delivery timelines while maintaining strong quality, control, and governance standards. Contribute to initiatives with broad business or enterprise impact and provide guidance, challenge, and work direction to team members or project contributors where required.
