We’re looking for a collaborative and analytical professional to join our team and provide expertise in driving analytical solutions and developing dynamic reports. You’ll develop key insights and ongoing reporting for key business groups (including Strategy, Operations and Marketing) while advancing data literacy throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with your client group to deeply understand their business needs
  • Design and deliver dashboards, reports and analytical tools that empower clients to solve real business problems
  • Analyze and reveal insights to decision-makers, and help with sense-making and recommendations
  • Offer solutions to both data and business challenges, focusing on scalable, efficient and continuously improving processes

What We’re Looking For

  • An analytical thinker who can design and develop strategies to assist business users in quickly finding the information they need to make better business decisions
  • Creative problem-solver with strong research and analytical skills who is comfortable making recommendations for improvements within both a business and technical environment
  • A relationship-builder that has the drive to build and establish strong partnerships with their key stakeholders throughout the organization

What You’ll Need

  • A bachelor’s degree in agriculture, finance, business, economics, mathematics, statistics, or computer science and at least four years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Amazon Quick Sight / S3 is an asset, as FCC is currently migrating its data infrastructure to AWS
  • Experience with legacy tools like SAS (Enterprise Guide, Viya) and Power BI is also acceptable, as we'll still be using these tools during the transition
  • An understanding of the RedShift environment and AWS Glue is desirable
  • Proficiency in other programming tools such as Python and PySpark, along with the ability to write SQL queries will be viewed favourably
