ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst Co-op to join our team! During your term, you will actively contribute to the activities of the IT Business Intelligence team, supporting with transforming data into insights by designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring data quality, and supporting both daily operations and special projects. Additional tasks and special assignments may be provided as needed to further support the team’s objectives.

The Role:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate actionable reports using Power BI.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to present data in an accessible manner.
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to identify analytical needs and translate them into Power BI solutions.
  • Perform regular data validation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for reports, dashboards, data models, and workflows.
  • Support users with daily BI reporting needs

The Person:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience with Power BI, including designing, developing, and optimizing dashboards and reports is preferred
  • Additional BI tools such as Firetran, Databricks, and Business Objects is an asset
  • Proficient experience with MS Office suite, specifically MS Excel
  • Demonstrates a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to leverage Power BI and other analytical tools to interpret complex data, transforming it into actionable insights that empower stakeholders to recognize trends, enhance operational efficiency
