Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain core reporting infrastructure in BigQuery and Looker Studio (or similar tools).
  • Define and own dashboards and reports for KPIs like CVR, AOV, LTV, CAC, retention, and channel performance.
  • Conduct e-commerce performance analysis by tracking KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, cart abandonment, AOV, and sales to generate actionable insights.
  • Regularly produce clear, actionable business insights and reports on e-commerce performance, marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer behavior.
  • Partner with stakeholders across marketing, merchandising, CX, product, IT, engineering, and executive teams to understand needs and enable self-serve reporting.
  • Provide documentation and analytical support for Shopify Plus, CMS, ERP, WMS and other systems that support the business.
  • Design and implement standardized templates and best practices for documenting business processes and performance reporting.
  • Ensure consistency of metrics definitions and data accuracy across the organization.
  • Assist with forecasting financial and performance metrics to support strategic planning and goal-setting.
  • Review and update documentation regularly to maintain accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
  • Identify and propose improvements to documentation processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Document data sources, reporting logic, and dashboard usage best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or data-focused roles, preferably in a DTC or e-commerce setting on Shopify Plus.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses like BigQuery.
  • Proficient in BI tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Proficient in Ecommerce BI tools such as Triple Whale, Polar Analytics and Elevar.
  • Solid understanding of standard e-commerce KPIs and how to track them effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to turn complex data into simple business narratives.
  • Self-starter with the ability to proactively identify opportunities and deliver solutions.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Toronto.
