Position Details

What You Will Do

  • Provide business analytics and insights to product leader and other leaders to help improve business decisions and processes
  • Create and maintain a suite of reports that provides critical information to stakeholders
  • Develop Business Intelligence applications (Qlikview, Power BI, etc.)) to be used for accessing reports and data
  • Drive the implementation and monitoring of reports and analytics developed
  • Conduct ongoing analysis to areas of opportunity and prepare trend analysis
  • Actively monitor KPI gap-to-budget where appropriate, and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with the other teams in the actuarial function in facilitating access to the data required in completing their projects
  • Produce data and reports to satisfy regulatory and internal risk compliance requirements
  • Review reports for accuracy and data quality

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Actuarial or Mathematics
  • Advanced knowledge and skill using SQL, Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Prior experience with business intelligence software
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to coordinate with business stakeholders to best fit reporting
  • Strong technical knowledge, including best/standard practices in reporting
