A local conservation authority in Burlington is seeking a Business Innovation and Data Solutions Lead to drive innovation and oversee data governance strategies. This role involves managing data systems, ERP support, and leading initiatives like AI adoption. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in data governance and project management. The position offers a starting salary of $110,798 annually and a comprehensive benefits package.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, the Business Innovation and Data Solutions Lead will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide innovation, our data governance strategy, and digital enablement. This role oversees the development and integration of data systems, ERP support, Project Management tools, and business intelligence platforms (notably Power BI), while also leading strategic initiatives such as AI adoption, digital skill development, and change management.
The incumbent will work cross-functionally to ensure that data and technology are leveraged to inform decision-making, and to improve digital operational efficiency in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. This role also provides digital leadership oversight for key projects including online permitting, park pass systems, records management, and vendor management in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
