Job description

We are currently seeking two experienced Business Information Management (BIM) Specialists to support a leading financial institution in executing a major enterprise initiative aimed at implementing and adhering to new data management standards across Risk and Compliance (US/CAN).

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong experience in data governance, risk reporting, and business/data analysis within large financial organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in delivering key outputs related to risk and compliance reporting as part of a dedicated project team.
  • Conduct Materiality Assessments with report/output owners.
  • Perform Data Supply Chain Analysis from source to report.
  • Document technical and business metadata.
  • Evaluate compliance with new enterprise data management standards.
  • Collaborate with risk analysts, IT, data governance, and compliance teams.
  • Escalate risks and issues promptly.
  • Participate in Agile and Waterfall project cycles.
Qualifications
Must Have:
  • 8+ years of experience in a large financial services organization.
  • Strong knowledge of financial risk domains (e.g., Credit, Market, Retail Risk).
  • Proficiency in data lineage analysis and documentation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, Visio).
  • Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data control testing.
  • Experience with Alteryx or similar data tools.
  • Background in regulatory compliance (Canada/US).
