CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:

Degree/Certifications Required: UG / Business / technology or related

Years of experience: 8yrs + .

SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The BIM Specialist will be part of a project pod responsible for executing the required activities to become adherent to the new data management standards. We have prioritized the bank's most critical outputs/reports . Our project team will be responsible for over 40 outputs within the Risk and Compliance area and each output will go through stages including:

Materiality Assessment - working directly with output/report owners to determine the most important metrics/line items on the report

Data Supply Chain Analysis - Decomposing the material line items into underlying data elements and tracing them to fully understand and document the systems/transformations and both technical and business metadata.

They will be expected to work with various stakeholders across the bank from differing backgrounds including non-technical business reporting teams to technology teams, data subject matter experts, and governance professionals to deliver against agreed timelines. The ability to communicate effectively with a cross section of stakeholders with varying levels of data management technical knowledge will be a critical skill, as will attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify and appropriately escalate issues and blockers to delivery.

MUST HAVE:

1.) Financial Risk (ie. Credit Risk, Market Risk, Retail Risk)

2.) Data Lineage Analysis and Documentation

3.) Alteryx or similar End User tools

4.) Ms office suite ( Access/Excel/ Visio)

5.) Agile / Waterfall environment

NICE TO HAVE

1.) Data controls / data governance knowledge
