Located in the heart of Toronto, our restaurant delivers an experience as memorable as our menu. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced *General Manager* to lead our team with passion, precision, and purpose.*Position Overview:*The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation, leadership, and profitability of the restaurant. This includes managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations with a strong emphasis on hospitality, team development, cost control, and operational excellence.*Key Responsibilities:**Operational Leadership** Lead daily operations and ensure smooth shift transitions* Oversee opening and closing duties with attention to detail and standards* Ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience through hospitality-focused service*Financial & Cost Controls** Monitor and manage food, beverage, and labor costs* Conduct and reconcile weekly inventory and oversee ordering processes* Analyze P&Ls and implement action plans to improve profitability*Team Management & Development** Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor a high-performing team* Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching* Foster a culture of accountability, positivity, and professional growth*Culinary & Beverage Oversight** Maintain a strong command of kitchen operations, food safety, and prep standards* Collaborate with the culinary team to uphold menu quality and consistency* Support bar operations, including inventory, costing, and product knowledge*Guest Experience** Be present on the floor, engaging guests and ensuring service excellence* Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally* Uphold and model brand standards and service expectations at all times.*Qualifications:** Minimum 3 years of General Manager or senior management experience in a full-service restaurant environment* Strong knowledge of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including kitchen procedures, ordering, and inventory systems* Proven ability to manage costs and drive financial performance* Natural leader with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills* Food Handler Certification required; Smart Serve Certification required* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidaysJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00-$81,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Dental care* Discounted or free food* Extended health care* Flexible schedule* On-site parking* Paid time offWork Location: In person
