Your Role
You’re not just running the gym – you’re driving the culture, the systems, and the results. You’ll be expected to manage both the people and the processes, bridging the gap between ownership, staff, and our growing membership base. From sales funnels and front desk SOPs to coaching development and client experience, you’ll own it all – and scale it with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Facility Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations, schedules, and staff shifts
- Maintain a clean, safe, high-performing training environment
- Ensure all internal SOPs and policies are followed
- Team Leadership & Culture
- Manage front desk and support staff (admin & coaches)
- Hold team accountable to communication, punctuality, and conduct
- Lead staff meetings, ongoing training, and development check-ins
- Elevate Client Experience
- Monitor onboarding, retention, and satisfaction
- Ensure communication tone and response times are aligned with brand standards
- Resolve escalations professionally and with empathy
- Sales
- Drive new membership sales and conversions
- Optimize lead follow-ups and trial conversions
- Track KPIs weekly and report directly to ownership
- Coordinate Events & Campaigns
- Support internal events, open house weeks, and product drops
- Manage timelines, marketing execution, and role assignments
- Collaborate with community partners and influencers
- Develop Staff & Systems
- Train new admin staff and coaches on expectations, policies, and brand culture
- Implement internal review processes and performance evaluations
- Build internal checklists and quick-reference guides with the SOP team
- Reporting & Strategy
- Manage performance (conversion rates, class attendance, satisfaction etc.)
- Report weekly to ownership with key insights and recommendations
- Support events, campaigns, and seasonal membership pushes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience of management in the service industry (wellness, hospitality etc.)
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills – can motivate, coach, and resolve conflict
- Highly organized and tech-savvy – can work with CRMs, scheduling tools, and POS systems
- Proven success in customer service and sales environments
- Passion for fitness, boxing or high-performance culture
- Bonus: Personal Training, CPR/First Aid, or related certifications
