Duties
  • Managing all aspects of the restaurant's daily activities, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising restaurant staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and handling any customer complaints or issues promptly.
  • Managing the restaurant's budget, monitoring expenses, and ensuring profitability.
  • Overseeing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining relationships with vendors.
  • Ensuring that the restaurant complies with all health and safety regulations.
  • Handling scheduling, payroll, and other administrative duties.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in restaurant management within the food service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Experience with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
  • Ability to manage a diverse team effectively while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
  • Bartending experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining high operational standards.

Selected candidates will be trained in Toronto for up to 3 weeks (accommodation is included).
