- Record/analyze chemical and energy costs. Ensure accuracy and timeliness and prepare cost reports and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly EBITDA and production operations forecast and analysis.
- Evaluate, maintain, and improve systems and financial controls around the inventory process.
- Evaluate cost control procedures and consumptions trends. Recommend improvements for Crofton.
- Assist with corporate requests and month-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliation and analysis.
- Maintain quality service to, and effective communication with, mill Procurement and PE management regarding the price for chemical materials, and major supplies, as well as energy/chemical consumptions.
- Fully support other division members and provide detailed cost analysis, to help them to make optimal decisions.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests.
- Assist with the implementation of accounting standards, policies, and procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) or working towards.
- Post-secondary education with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel, and strong database analysis skills.
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented, organized, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines and multi-task.
- Proven prioritization, time management and task management skills and effective communication skills with internal team.

The salary for this position is CAN $88-107K per year. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
