Business Finance Manager

The position

As a Business Finance Manager at Novo Nordisk Canada, you will:

  • Develop and refine sales forecasts for Rare Disease, Insulin, and Women’s Health segments in collaboration with sales and marketing teams. Monitor daily sales to identify revenue risks and deviations, and generate monthly performance analyses to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Drive the preparation of high-quality business plans, presentations, and reporting submissions to regional stakeholders. Present ex-factory assumptions to the executive team, ensuring alignment on brand sales targets.
  • Manage accruals of rebates agreed upon in provincial Product Listing Agreements, ensuring accurate and timely accruals. Assist Market Access in validating provincial rebate invoices and true-up accruals.
  • Design, build, and monitor the operating effectiveness of internal controls for the sales process. Continuously improve and develop sales forecasting models and processes at Novo Nordisk Canada.
  • Develop strong relationships with Rare Disease and Insulin commercial teams, becoming a trusted finance partner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Insights & Analytics and Patient Access, to ensure comprehensive financial planning and reporting.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

Need to have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have:
- Experience in sales and performance analysis within the pharmaceutical industry and experience in consulting or advisory roles, particularly in finance transformation or business finance consulting.
- Familiarity with SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Business Objects.
