HearingLife Canada, in partnership with National Affiliated Providers, is the largest provider of hearing healthcare services in Canada. Our core philosophy is to "do what is best for the client" while raising awareness about hearing loss and the benefits of hearing devices, in collaboration with the National Campaign for Better Hearing (campaignforbetterhearing.org).

At HearingLife, we are the Modern Hearing Care Professionals, dedicated to providing Life-Changing Hearing Health with a mission to help more people hear better.

The Business Expansion Specialist (BES), reporting to the Business Expansion Manager (BEM), plays a key role in launching and growing new Greenfield hearing clinics across Canada. Responsibilities include overseeing clinic openings, ensuring operational readiness, supporting sales, and engaging with communities.

The BES coordinates Grand Opening events, develops community outreach initiatives, and supports clinic staff to meet sales and operational goals. They work with internal teams such as Regional Managers, Divisional Sales Directors, and Marketing to align with expansion strategies and brand standards.

Additional duties involve performance monitoring, training, coaching, market opportunity assessment, and compliance with company policies. The role may also include performing hearing tests, fittings, and health assessments, requiring frequent travel across Canada to support new clinics and maintain partner relationships.

Note: Willingness to travel up to 80% and be located near a major airport in Canada is required.

Success Criteria
  1. Establish and launch new Greenfield locations ensuring smooth setup and operations.
  2. Coordinate impactful grand opening events to boost community engagement.
  3. Ensure compliance with HearingLife standards, improving productivity and efficiency.
  4. Maintain high standards of client care and brand adherence.
  5. Provide regular updates on clinic openings and performance.
  6. Support regional sales goals through coaching and development.
  7. Foster community engagement through outreach activities.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building
  • Develop strong relationships with staff and partners to meet sales and growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and represent the company at industry events.
Drive Business
  • Identify market opportunities and oversee clinic openings.
  • Assess performance, implement improvements, and ensure training and compliance.
  • Manage projects using tools like ASANA, stay informed about market offerings, and develop financial strategies.
Minimum Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Business Development or related field; Master’s in Audiology or Hearing Instrument Specialist certification preferred.
  • At least 3 years of healthcare sales experience preferred; clinical support experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Canada.
