This is a multi-function role in a Business Centre. Reporting to the Business Centre Manager, the person in the Technical Business Development role should be a dynamic, self-motivated individual ready to work in a fast-paced team environment and capable of providing superior customer service to our valued customers.
- Provide superior customer service communication via telephone, email, and other channels by promptly and professionally assisting with customers' needs;
- Respond to customers' inquiries in a timely manner, with assistance from other team members if needed;
- Develop a professional relationship with customers and / or vendors as per criteria established by the Manager;
- Take necessary action to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner; follow up and verify that commitments are met;
- Proactively suggest associated and / or alternative products as needed;
- Quickly inform the appropriate person (Business Centre Manager, Outside Sales Representatives) of customer feedback regarding price, products, and services;
- Take a proactive approach to enhancing technical knowledge through available training on various product lines and learning opportunities;
- Support in other tasks as needed.

Main Responsabilités
- Provide superior customer service communication via telephone, email, and other channels by promptly and professionally assisting with customers' needs;
- Respond to customers' inquiries in a timely manner, with assistance from other team members if needed;
- Develop a professional relationship with customers and / or vendors as per criteria established by the Manager;
- Take necessary action to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner; follow up and verify that commitments are met;
- Proactively suggest associated and / or alternative products as needed;
- Promote focus product items;
- Quickly inform the appropriate person (Business Centre Manager, Outside Sales Representatives) of customer feedback regarding price, products, and services;
- Take a proactive approach to enhancing technical knowledge through available training on various product lines and learning opportunities;
- Support in other tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 completed; ideally 1-2 years of related experience;
- 5+ years of experience in a role with electrical knowledge;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, initiative;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Interest and capability in sales, purchasing, and inventory management;
- Strong desire to develop and grow skills.
