Job summary

Best Buy Canada, a leader in tech retail, is expanding its Marketplace team in Vancouver and seeks two Business Development Specialists. You will identify prospective sellers, present the Marketplace opportunity, and assist onboarding from catalog readiness through CRM tracking.

You will work in a remote-first environment with in-person collaboration for strategic activities, networking, and social events, supporting growth across Canada.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, retail, operations, customer service, or related field.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Are you excited by business development and eager to learn the world of online marketplaces? Our Marketplace team at Best Buy is growing and we are looking for two Business Development Specialists to join us. In these roles, you will help support our marketplace growth strategy by researching and identifying new sellers to join our platform. The successful candidates are required to be located in the Greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote‑first working model, leveraging in‑person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you’ll do:

What we’re looking for:

• 1-2 years of experience in e‑commerce, retail, operations, customer service, sales, or a related field.
• A strong interest in business development and online marketplaces.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems and processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with CRM tools – Salesforce is an asset.

Annualized Compensation Range $50,000.00 - $55,000.00

This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above. Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
