Job description

Red Table Foods is currently looking to fill a position for a Business Development Sales Representative at our Red Table Facility located in Edmonton. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building.
  3. Collaborate with the production team to ensure alignment between sales forecasts and production capabilities.
  4. Lead negotiations with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms and sustainable partnerships.
  5. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to capitalize on emerging opportunities, working collaboratively with all internal stakeholders.
  6. Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
Qualifications
  1. Proven experience in business development and sales within the food production or related food industries.
  2. Strong understanding of sales processes and a track record of achieving revenue growth targets.
  3. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility at all levels.
  4. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strategic mindset and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  6. Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
  7. Good organizational and time management skills.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is strongly preferred.
  9. Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License, with a 5-year driving record satisfactory to Civeo's driving criteria.
