At Maplesoft, we're helping engineers solve complex problems faster with world-class calculation and simulation tools. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in that mission — identifying and engaging new leads across our strategic markets.

In this role, you'll work hand-in-hand with our Account Managers in Europe and our extended Sales support and technical teams here in Canada, to fill the sales pipeline : identifying the right contacts, starting conversations, and securing discovery calls that lead to high-impact deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Research and identify high-potential leads based on target industries and personas
  • Initiate outbound outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn and other tools
  • Proactively engage and nurture prospects to qualify interest and schedule discovery calls or demos
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers to optimize targeting and handoff
  • Track activity, results, and insights in Salesforce

What You Bring

  • Experience or strong motivation to grow in B2B sales (technical sales a plus)
  • Fluent in English and German (French is a plus)
  • Very comfortable with cold outreach and building rapport remotely
  • Curious, persistent, and proactive — you don’t wait to be told what to do
  • Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, goal-driven environment
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar
