Sales Development Representative

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Account Success, you’ll be working directly with the sales team and be expected to have a critical impact on the organization and revenue.

Who You Are

You are a master in the language of sales and constantly seek new and strategic ways to build successful business relationships. You are entrepreneurial by nature with a proven track record of achieving sales quotas. You are motivated by opportunity and guided by empathy and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Customer Relationships by scheduling follow-ups and maintaining quality data in CRM systems to enable effective retention and business development.
  • Identify new opportunities and build relationships with target accounts through networking and cold outreach.
  • Research and present business intelligence about customers and prospects.
  • Monitor personal and team performance, set objectives, and contribute to performance reviews.
  • Develop personal capabilities through training, coaching, and maintaining industry knowledge.
  • Develop and implement customer contact plans, address queries, and resolve issues.
  • Clarify customer needs, make presentations, and evaluate interest levels.
  • Create sales pipeline using demand generation and prospecting tools.
  • Identify and propose products/services that meet customer needs and facilitate purchase.
  • Understand and adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify influencers and decision-makers within accounts to promote customer focus.

Education

  • Short-Cycle Tertiary Education

Experience

  • 2+ years in sales or sales development role
  • Bonus: Experience in Government, Education, Healthcare, or B2B technology sectors
