Buyerlink is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative to bring on new accounts and align with Client Success to ensure lasting client relationships. This in-person role operates from Victoria, BC, requiring strong prospecting, negotiation, and presentation skills to drive a robust sales pipeline and meet quotas.

You will travel globally as needed, primarily to the US, and collaborate across teams to craft compelling sales campaigns and close complex deals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new sales via cold outreach
• Schedule multiple meetings weekly with qualified prospects
• Provide steady flow of new clients to the sales pipeline
• Negotiate client contracts and close deals
• Identify strategic opportunities with existing clients
• Collaborate with Client Success to nurture accounts
• Develop and deliver presentations on Buyerlink’s marketing services

Job description

Are you constantly forging your own path, driving forward negotiations while reaching for the next big client? Does prospecting for quality clients energize and thrill you? We are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to join our growing team.

As the Business Development Rep, you will be responsible for bringing on new accounts through the sales pipeline, and working in sync with the Client Success team to ensure all client relationships are set up for success.

This is an in-person role at our office in Victoria, BC.

Day-to-day: Discovering new opportunities, cold outreaching prospects, and collaborating with team members to identify and grow strategic accounts.

You will:

• Prospect and qualify new sales through cold email/calling and networking
• Schedule several sales meetings and presentations weekly with qualified prospects
• Provide adequate supply of new clients to the sales pipeline
• Negotiate client contracts
• Close complex deals
• Identify strategic opportunities with existing clients
• Work closely with Client Success to ensure new and current accounts are cared for
• Create, plan, and deliver presentations on Buyerlink’s marketing services
• Track all sales activities in the company CRM system and keep current by updating new prospect and account information regularly
• Create and maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
• Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
• Meet and/or exceed quotas; KPIs must be tracked with diligence
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort
• Travel to conferences and prospective customers

You have...

• You have at least 1 year experience within a B2B Sales / Account Executive or Inside Sales / Sales Development Representative role
• The ability to travel globally when needed, primarily in the US
• A clear and personable communication style, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to take direction and play well in a team environment
• An exceptional sense of organization and attention to detail
• Ability to figure things out and learn independently
• The ability to meet deadlines when unexpected situations and/or request are made
• Possess a high-energy, charismatic, positive “can-do” attitude via the phone and in person
• High ethical values and professionalism

Nice to have:

• A background in performance marketing
• A strong familiarity with CRMs and Outreach Platforms
• A track-record of successfully filling a sales pipeline and closing deals
• A post-secondary education in business, commerce or marketing

Compensation: $60,000 base, $85,000 OTE

Compensation will bedeterminedby factors including knowledge and skills, role-specific qualifications, market location, and experience.
