Position Overview

The Business Development Representative supports Intelex’s drive for sales, revenue, and overall growth. The role involves generating sales-ready leads through outbound and inbound prospecting via phone and email, targeting industry and specific vertical markets as defined by sales and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Generate new business opportunities to support rapid growth
  • Engage in high-level conversations and market research with senior executives
  • Communicate key messages and the value of Intelex solutions
  • Understand and articulate the technical aspects of Intelex’s product line and value proposition
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and other team members
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas for sales opportunities and leads
  • Report on market trends to inform sales and marketing strategies
  • Make cold and warm calls to engage prospects at all levels, including senior executives
  • Use various methods and resources to generate leads
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools to track leads
  • Conduct discovery conversations with decision-makers
  • Stay informed on industry trends and challenges
  • Build product knowledge to maintain high literacy on systems and functionalities

Organizational Alignment

  • Reports to the Manager, Business Development
  • Builds relationships with cross-functional teams
