Profile : Our client offers translation and localization services to companies in the medical, pharmaceutical, marketing, tourism, legal, food and other industries. They help businesses communicate across languages. With many years of experience, they offer services like document translation, e-learning and localization. They work with 80+ languages worldwide. They are known for high-quality service and ranks among the top language service providers. They are expanding and looking for a business development representative to join their sales team.

Territory : Montreal

Work Place : Home office (Must reside in the greater Montreal area)

Products / Services : Translation and localization services

Salary : $70,000-$75,000

Commissions / Bonus : 6% on new business - 1% on maintenance

Expenses reimbursement : All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed by the employer

Functions :

  1. Develop and consolidate existing customer base using techniques such as cold calls, social media optimization, email follow-ups and more
  2. Develop new markets and new accounts over the phone and face to face
  3. Answer quotation requests via their web platform
  4. Create their own contacts while boosting the contact base provided by the employer, as well as qualifying prospects
  5. Provide follow-up by phone / e-mail and in person regarding quotes
  6. Participate in networking events, conferences and trade shows to promote the company's services
  7. Maintain and grow your existing customer base

Requirements :

  1. Development vs Maintenance : 70% VS 30%
  2. Road vs Office : 20% VS 80%
  3. Languages : French and English (written and spoken)
  4. Training : Full training will be provided by the employer
  5. Overnight Travel : N/A
  6. Years of experience : 3+ years selling translation business services
