Business Development Representative

Position Type: Full-Time
Reports To: President & CEO

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Business Development Representative to join our team. This role will focus on driving new business opportunities through engaging video content creation, effective communication strategies, and proactive outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Video Content Creation
    1. Brainstorm, develop, and produce engaging video content for website, social media, and email campaigns to enhance SEO optimization.
    2. Capture and edit video content from trade shows, conferences, and company events to showcase Velatron's capabilities.
  2. Newsletter Development
    1. Create and manage monthly or quarterly newsletters to highlight company updates, product releases, and industry insights.
    2. Ensure newsletters align with brand tone and messaging to engage and inform our audience.
  3. Tradeshow and Conference Attendance
    1. Attend industry events to network with potential clients and partners.
    2. Take high-quality photos and videos at events to share on digital platforms.
  4. Prospect Research and Outreach
    1. Identify and research potential customers and partners within target markets.
    2. Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, track outreach activities, and follow up with prospects to build relationships.
  5. Digital Marketing Strategies
    1. Develop innovative strategies to increase Velatron's digital footprint through social media, website content, and online campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Proven experience in business development, marketing, or a related role.
  2. Strong video creation and editing skills (experience with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar is a plus).
  3. Experience writing and designing effective newsletters.
  4. Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to attend industry events and travel as required.
