Job description

We are recruiting for an energetic Business Development Representative to join our diverse client. The successful candidate will be responsible to generate and successfully convert sales into new accounts by demonstrating the value and benefits of the program to Alberta companies also to grow the business while providing first-class customer service.

Your success will be defined by your ability to :

  • Develop and qualify leads across Alberta to drive new business opportunities
  • Be able to properly identify the decision maker within different corporate structures
  • Asses prospective client work environments and assist in providing value by integrating products and service
  • Utilize CRM to document and report on account activities including business development, ongoing relationship management, and pipeline analysis
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with new and existing clients to ensure marketability
  • Participate in planning and attending events that promotes products and / or services (e.g., tradeshows, conferences, committee meetings)
  • Monitor progress against established schedules, including sales tracking and reporting
  • Educate customers about the benefits of the product to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Create strong lead cold calling and inbound lead generation, conduct daily prospective clients
  • Provide monthly sales reports to Chief Executive Officer and Director
  • Set-up and maintain files for new client companies
  • Laisse with client companies and members to address any questions or concerns

Your strengths include :

  • 3+ years experience in sales and marketing
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing or Commerce
  • Experience in (B2B) Business-to-Business Sales
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Products and CRM systems
  • Must speak, read, and write English fluently
