Title: Business Development Representative/Jr Sales Representative

Industry: Truck Transportation

Position Status: Full-time, permanent (Hired by the employer, not by Evlv)

Location: Western Canada (with frequent travel to MB, AB, SK, and BC)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday

Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Salary, Medical benefits, RRSP, vacation, other

We are looking for a Business Development Representative/Jr Sales Representative who is driven, articulate, and customer-focused to help us expand our client base and strengthen existing relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales or business development—ideally in transportation or related industries—and a passion for delivering value to customers.   • 2-3 years experience in the trucking industry

  • Knowledge of reefers, heaters, trucks and trailers an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia

The responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned regions
  • Conduct regular in-person visits to existing and prospective accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction
  • Make daily outbound calls and send targeted emails to decision-makers
  • Develop a deep understanding of service offerings and industry landscape
  • Deliver regular reports on activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with the sales manager to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals
