£55k basic + 1% of all the sales on the region paid monthly.

Business Development Manager; Trench Heating Manufacturer
Role

You will be responsible for selling low temperature heating, hybrid heating systems, cooling solutions, trench heating, and perimeter heating products. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent with M&E Consultants, Consultant Engineers & Architects, e.g., Arups, Hilson Moran, Hoare Lea. The remaining 30% targets M&E Contractors such as NG Bailey, Skanska, and Briggs. You will spend minimal time with Merchants/Distributors. A large emphasis will be on winning and securing specifications, maintaining relationships, conducting CPDs, and tracking projects from start to finish.

The region includes Kent, East & West Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, and South London below the river. The current performance of the patch is approximately £1.2m.

Person

You should have proven relationships with Consultants across the region. The client considers products such as fixings, ventilation, cooling, air conditioning, heating, piping, plumbing, and renewables. Technical competence and the ability to communicate effectively with Consultants are essential.
