About the Role:

Vitacore is looking for an experienced, ambitious, and customer-focused sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit, ideally with experience in the health care industry. With a minimum of 5 years sales experience, your focus will be to grow our customer and distribution base in the plastics recycling industry. Your past successful sales performance will be an asset when representing Canada’s leader in highly accredited Personal Protective Equipment and proudly the first company in North America with focused efforts on diverting PPE from landfills by creating fully recyclable products and services.

Responsibilities include:

Drive growth by adding new accounts/business development:

  1. Develop a robust pipeline of leads which include market leaders.
  2. Conduct cold calls.
  3. Qualify leads.
  4. Educate and market to prospects on Vitacore’s products and services.
  5. Convert leads into customers through follow-up calls/visits, strong persuasion, and communication skills, through a collaborative, consultative approach.
  6. Work with Distribution Representatives to drive new business growth throughout territory.

Manage the territory as your own business:

  1. Assist with customer orders and questions.
  2. Focus on account pipeline growth making decisions using available information and resources.
  3. Assist in the development of territory sales forecasts.
  4. Create monthly territory analysis.
  5. Use organizational skills to plan sales call rotations, record sales notes, track prospects, and comply with required reporting and other internal administration tasks.
  6. Strategize with other departments to build a comprehensive plan to successfully achieve company objectives each month/quarter/year.

Represent the Vitacore brand positively:

  1. Share your passion as a local Canadian manufacturer with enthusiasm.
  2. Ensure a strong working knowledge of our full product portfolio and ability to clearly promote our products’ value.
  3. Demonstrate continuous personal development by being open and receptive to coaching and customer feedback.
  4. Communicate clearly and respond to clients in a timely and professional manner.

Actively maintaining existing client Business Developments:

  1. Team-selling approach, you will conduct regular business meetings with active accounts.
  2. Lead ongoing training and education; coordinate Marketing initiatives.
  3. Collaborate on territory account management strategy, including the deployment of business development, new product penetration and market share expansion within our account/Distributor base customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business.
  2. 5+ years of relevant sales experience, experience in plastics recycling industry is ideal.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  4. Previous experience with Salesforce is considered an asset.
  5. Superior, articulate, and engaging communication skills in English (including written, verbal, and non-verbal communication).
  6. Active driver's license is a must.
  7. Be eligible to qualify for a provincially regulated security license (clear criminal background check).
  8. All candidates may be asked to disclose their vaccination status if we decide to work together.

Compensation:

  1. $75,000 - $85,000 annual salary.
  2. Uncapped commission $ + bonuses.
  3. Health & Dental benefits.
  4. 3 weeks paid vacation.
