Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager (Oil / Lubrication) to join our team in Southampton. The role offers a salary of £75,000 - £85,000 plus lucrative commission, hybrid working, a company car allowance, and training opportunities.

Role Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for generating new business and developing sales strategies, serving as a technical expert in Oil Analysis and Lubricant selection. You will sell bolt-on filtration equipment for oils and lubricants used in hydraulic capital equipment, traveling across the UK to expand market reach and secure new clients in ports, nuclear, and milling industries. Your duties include conducting oil reports and making tactical sales decisions to increase your earnings through commission.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Selling bolt-on oil filtration systems for capital equipment.
  2. Generating new business and developing existing accounts.
  3. Conducting Oil Analysis Reports at customer sites.
  4. Traveling UK-wide, with a hybrid work schedule (Monday - Friday, flexible hours).
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, or similar with experience interpreting and conducting Oil Analysis Reports. Willingness to travel and stay away for up to 3 nights a week is essential.
