Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop existing customers and identify new opportunities within the Nuclear market for Grayloc and, where applicable, OII business as a whole. This includes assessing marketing opportunities, gathering intelligence on customers and competitors, conducting surveys, generating sales leads, providing advice, analyzing market share data, developing SWOT analyses, following up on sales activities, and managing proposals and presentations. The candidate will develop strategies to implement plans that can be presented to the Grayloc Business Development Manager and Grayloc G.M. International travel overseas will be required.

LOCATION:
This role offers a hybrid working environment, combining virtual and office work as needed.
International and domestic travel at least 40% of the time is required.


Duties And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL:

  • Understand the objectives for growing the Nuclear business for Grayloc and OII, coordinating with internal departments regarding new products, market expansion, business acquisition, and overall goals.
  • Provide tactical and strategic support for business and product development, supporting stakeholders and understanding their goals.
  • Work closely with the sales team and customers to identify needs and leverage opportunities for new business.
  • Gather and report market data, including total market size and market share, and develop strategic plans to increase market share.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans in collaboration with the Grayloc Business Development Manager to meet corporate goals.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting activities and review market analyses to determine customer needs and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor competitors' activities, market share, and strategic alliances.
  • Assist in developing detailed business plans for growth.
  • Travel domestically and internationally at least 40% of the time.

ADDITIONAL:

  • Engage with the Grayloc team to learn about products and support marketing efforts at trade shows and seminars.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Sales Managers to align processes globally.
  • Identify product line or regional weaknesses and customer requests for improvements.
  • Network within the industry with clients and other business professionals.
  • Attend industry workshops, trade shows, and seminars to stay updated.
  • Work as part of a team to pursue common goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in the Nuclear industry or supplying into the Nuclear Market.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Business Development.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 40% of the time.
  • Ability to quickly learn about Grayloc’s products and services.

DESIRED:

  • Knowledge of flange/clamp connection markets in oilfield or refinery industries.
  • Over five (5) years of experience in the Nuclear industry or related markets.
  • An MBA from an accredited university.
