Turnbull Construction Project Managers Ltd (TCPM) is a leading Owner’s Representative and Project Management firm in BC & Alberta. Known for our exceptional service and people, TCPM has been delivering award-winning projects for more than 26 years, operating from offices in Surrey and Victoria in a fun & fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a self-motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team in Surrey, BC. Working directly with TCPM's executive team, the successful candidate will take a leading role in developing proposals, fostering growth opportunities, and improving marketing initiatives for our growing company.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Proposal Development: Create proposal strategies, write, proofread, edit, and format proposal content, including adapting existing content to ensure cohesive proposals. Deliver exceptional proposals with tailored content and effective design.
  2. Corporate Growth: Assist in sourcing and assessing relevant opportunities aligned with TCPM’s value proposition and portfolio of work, maintaining a database of leads. Collaborate with internal teams to support business development strategies and initiatives. Manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Maintain proposal and marketing resources, including a database of supporting materials. Build and maintain industry relationships to promote TCPM's awareness and values through effective communication and partnerships.
  3. Marketing and Outreach: Complete technical writing for marketing and project deliverables. Create engaging marketing content, presentations, and collateral. Manage and update website content, LinkedIn engagement, and company information.
  4. Administrative Support: Organize and manage project timelines, provide high-level support to executives, including calendar management, scheduling, editing, and coordinating presentations.
Qualifications:
  • A Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Design is an asset but not required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in developing strategic proposal submissions, preferably within the AEC or Development industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and CRM software is a plus. Experience with web design, graphic design, or photography & videography is an asset.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical skills, and quick processing of information.
  • Excellent communication skills, including editing and proofreading.
  • Ability to manage and motivate others, fostering creativity.
  • Effective communication with technical staff and management.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
