A leading construction service provider in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow its presence in the North American market. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent client relationship management skills, and a proven record of success in business development. This role involves extensive travel and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Business Development Manager – Industrial & Commercial will play a key role in growing DBM Vircon’s presence in the North American industrial and commercial steel detailing markets, while also promoting companion services such as piping, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) detailing. This role is responsible for business development, client relationship management, and building trusted partnerships through a solutions-based sales approach.
The Business Development Manager will work closely with technical SMEs, the estimating team, and other business segments to leverage DBM Vircon’s integrated methodology. Success in this role requires a strong industry network, business acumen, and the ability to identify opportunities, win new clients, and expand existing relationships.
This role covers Canada and the United States. It is anticipated that 30% - 50% travel will be required. Company credit card and corporate travel arrangement is provided.
The expected base salary for this position ranges from CA$110,000 to CA$135,000 CAD per annum + Commission (performance-based). The final base salary will be determined based on factors such as the applicant's education, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications.
