Our Partner Business Development Managers serve as a valuable triple-facing asset, leveraging their expertise in sales and technical domains to enhance partner engagement and fuel customer acquisition strategies. Their integrated approach ensures optimized partner experiences while effectively driving business growth. In this role, you will develop a thorough understanding of a strategic partner’s value proposition at CDW Canada and become a SME on partner process and CDW capabilities to support sales teams and Endpoint teams to provide elevated customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with our product management teams, Endpoint teams and partner resources to provide insights for the effective execution of sales initiatives, enablement, and evangelism with CDW, the partner and our customers.

What you’ll do :

  • Attain quarterly and annual sales quota aligned to partner growth targets at CDW.
  • Own and report pipeline and forecast to all stakeholders weekly.
  • Bring a keenly curious mindset along with a strong ability to identify and understand challenges and advantages that contribute to partner revenue and profitability at CDW.
  • Report monthly insights and feedback from solution architects, sellers and customers working with partner solutions.
  • Collaborate with our partner’s team and PPM to build out go-to-market strategies, deliver value prop and increase partner’s sales within target accounts.
  • Lead CDW, partner and customer-facing events to communicate the value add of CDW+partner.
  • Understand the competitive landscape with partners and / or region and how market conditions can impact CDW Canada the partner being supported.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Solutions teams to :
  • Have excellent knowledge of CDW service offerings and the process in which CDW teams attach them to partner solutions.
  • Obtain and facilitate necessary partner and industry certifications.
  • Build your brand image to grow sales awareness around your partner's products and services.
  • Determine opportunities within the sales team’s book of business.
  • Develop and execute on a quarterly sales plan.
  • Coordinate with appropriate resources to demonstrate operational excellence for partner processes and programs.
  • Lead / assist seller and solutions teams with customer sales strategy, regional events, and customer sales calls to help in closing CDW businesses with partner’s solutions.
  • Support CDW Solution Engineers with solution selling, partner resources and enablement.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years’ experience in either IT sales, field sales, technical presales, VAR or partner management with responsibility to achieve monthly & quarterly revenue and growth targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree, college Diploma or relevant work experience in IT sales technical position or partner management.
  • Success in business development opportunities and selling solutions.
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Office : MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Familiar with Power BI tool.
  • Technical aptitude for partner’s solutions along with a solid understanding of Endpoint products, services, and CDW solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), presentation skills, and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen with a “hunter” mentality.
  • Ability to build strong relationships both within CDW, as well as partners and customers.
  • Aptitude to work with Executive and C-Level contacts within CDW, Partner and Customers.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to meet and exceed expectations with limited supervision.
  • Technical knowledge on our partner’s solutions (typically include networking, servers, storage, hybrid & multi-cloud platforms, depending on partner solutions).
  • Ability to build and present technical complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to keep track of tasks and present team updates for activities delivered.

Pay range : $51,500 - $76,220 depending on experience and skill set.

Annual bonus target of $60,000 subject to terms and conditions of plan.
