Gastops is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth by creating and fostering business opportunities in the Wind Energy sector.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the Wind Energy sector, coupled with a genuine passion for renewable energy and technological innovation

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends and customer needs relevant to current and future Gastops products, services, and solutions.
  • Maintain a strong technical understanding of our products and services to communicate their value effectively to partners and customers.
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to develop customized solutions, providing technical expertise and addressing customer challenges throughout the sales process.
  • Cultivate long-term customer relationships by maintaining regular contact, ensuring ongoing satisfaction, and identifying sales or partnership opportunities
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead qualification to closing the sale and providing ongoing customer support post-sale.
  • Monitor and track sales metrics and KPIs to ensure you meet or exceed your sales targets. Provide regular updates on pipeline progress and performance.
  • Attend industry events, tradeshows, and conferences to network, generate leads, stay updated on trends, and promote Gastops solutions.
  • Engage with the Marketing team to align key targets for campaigns and collateral, ensuring relevance to your sales strategy.
  • Travel internationally up to 33% of the time, meeting both new and existing customers to maintain relationships and drive business growth.

What You Should Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • At least 3 years of sales or applications experience
  • Knowledge of the wind energy market
  • Experience with condition monitoring systems is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (fluency in additional languages is a plus)
  • A demonstrated passion for success.
