This is a unique opportunity to join one of Canada's most dynamic and ambitious buying groups within the Building Materials and LBM markets. As the Business Development Manager MB-SK, you will add to the growth and development of one of Canada's leading Buying Groups within the western market, managing and developing future growth. You will be the face of the organization as they expand across this region bringing with you their proven ability to provide superior programs and services for the LBM Dealer market.

We are looking for a senior level, well-established Business Development Professional, familiar with the prairie Lumber and Building Supply market, that understands the challenges and issues within this business sector. This individual holds relationships with key Dealers and Dealer groups, and can Solution Sell at the Owner level. This position requires an individual who is willing to travel extensively and is accustomed to working remotely from head office.

Responsibilities
  • Add to the growth and development of the Western market buying group.
  • Manage and develop future growth initiatives.
  • Act as the face of the organization across the region.
  • Solution sell at the Owner level to key dealers.
  • Travel extensively and work remotely from head office.
  • Provide continual communication to Prairie Members and understand their needs.
  • Build trust and establish relationships with dealer owners to influence banner swaps.
  • Coach, present, and organize to support dealer programs.
