Business Development Manager (B2B Enterprise, Leadership Development)

Remote (Canada-based) | Monthly in-person meetings | Full-Time

We’re looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in consultative sales, loves translating business challenges into tailored solutions, and wants to work in a purpose-driven, collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead outbound efforts through client referrals, warm intros, cold outreach, networking, and our lead gen partner (Leadosaurus)
  • Conduct market research to uncover emerging trends and whitespace opportunities in leadership development

Lead the Sales Process

  • Facilitate deep discovery conversations to understand client needs and success criteria
  • Craft and present tailored proposals, pricing models, and SOWs
  • Manage negotiation, closing, and contract development with mid- and large-sized enterprise clients

Manage Seamless Client Handoffs

  • Record kickoff videos and hand over clear context to internal teams
  • Facilitate internal and external kickoff meetings to align stakeholders
  • Track deals in the company budget and CRM for clean revenue forecasting
  • Conduct post-program debriefs to gather feedback and uncover renewal or upsell opportunities
  • Keep clients engaged between programs by sharing thought leadership and industry insights
  • Report directly to the CEO with data-driven insights and pipeline forecasts
  • Manage and optimize tools like HubSpot, Sales Navigator, and proposal templates
  • Support monthly nurture campaigns and content-driven lead gen in partnership with Marketing

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex, consultative sales

Proven success selling professional services, leadership development, or HR / L&D solutions

Expert in running strategic discovery conversations, creating tailored proposals, and navigating multi-stakeholder deals

Comfortable with RFPs, contract negotiation, and the full enterprise sales cycle

Proficient with HubSpot, Sales Navigator, and digital proposal tools

Clear and persuasive communicator, skilled at building trust with senior executives

Strategic thinker who understands market dynamics, client needs, and solution positioning

Comfortable working with high autonomy across cross-functional teams

Business-savvy, with a strong grasp of aligning development programs to client outcomes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Bonus : 20% of base (with stretch opportunities above target)

Vacation : 3 weeks + 2-week winter office closure + summer half-days; increases with tenure

Professional Development : $2,500 annual PD budge
